even doing laundry is fun

i have no idea what to right about. things are happily chugging along.
my boss is heinous. and as it turns out she's not actually my boss. weird? she's not my supervisor. she's my nothing. she has seniority to my minority. but that's it. and it seems everywhere i've ever worked there's been someone like her. my daytime cohort at o-a-ass was my previous experience of this nature. but the problem there was that she was family. now, i have momentum and am taking action against a)racism b)condescension c)breaking policy thinking they're being nice, but actually breaking the law. so i feel like i can overcome her, and take action. and man, that feels awesome.
also, i got a promotion on friday. so that was cool.
ummm. a friend of keith's is visiting from new zealand. he is the coolest of the cool. we went out on friday night. i can't believe these guys have been such tight friends since they were 11. the whole group of them. it amazes me. anyway, post friday night, new zealand friend crashed on our couch. played game cube (lego star wars!) all day saturday after breakfast at diner deluxe (too lazy to link, but the penultimate hang over breakfast place). and like, yay, or whatever, he stayed the night again last night and went back to see his folks today. i guess he's in town for about a month, and we'll be going to some shows etc. and i'm totally stoked on all that noise.
saw julie doiron friday night. that was cool.
my mom is coming to visit for a weekend in a month. and i'm excited. i really want keith to meet the rest of my family. possibly come home for christmas with me, otherwise i'm not going. he's met my sister, my uncle, and my grandmother. that was... actually fun. so, i kinda can't wait for my mom to come. she seems to have changed a lot in her change of career path and home and and and... lots of change. the catching up is long overdue.
and, like, things are fast pace, fun, and betta than eva x____x
